.UA is the national top-level domain of Ukraine. It is considered to be the most elite Ukrainian domain and the most popular among commercial sites and organizations whose target audience and commercial activities are focused on Ukraine.
According to the rules of the .UA domain, the registered domain name must completely reproduce the verbal designation of the trademark or coincide with the verbal designation of the trademark after removing spaces from it or when replacing spaces with hyphens. Domain administrative contact information must be fully consistent with the information about the owner of the certificate for the mark or the data of the owner of the license agreement for the relevant trademark.
A house name in the .UA zone can be registered only on the basis of a trademark registration certificate registered in Ukraine or in another state with territorial extension to Ukraine in accordance with the Madrid Agreement.
